Today, I played some tennis matches against my sister and my relatives. Although I only won one match overall, I felt that I was actually improving bit by bit. I also realized that my volley gave me a lot troubles during the game because I was not very fast in reacting to the ball when I was up near the net. I took note of that and decided to practice my volley more in the future. As always,I enjoyed every moment that I played and practiced tennis in the court, and I look forward to playing against them in the near the future with the  hope that I will be able to win more games by then.

Today I volunteered to teach English to the orphans at the SOS village. I had a good time teaching them as well as getting to know each of them better. Through their passion to learn and their dream of success in the future, I learn how fortunate I am to possess all of the possibilities and opportunities that they do not have. I feel happy that I have a chance to interact with these children and learn more about myself through them. I hope that my effort will help them achieve their dreams in the future.

I really enjoy tutoring Lily every Friday. Through this activity, I learn to be patient express my explanation better. After all of these months of tutoring her, I am really glad that she is no longer hesitant to ask me questions, and it also seems like she quickly grasps all of the concepts now.

L'amour C'est pour Rien (Love, it's for nothing) is a playful tango piece. This is the first time that I am exposed to this genre, so it is a new challenge for me. Rhythm is the key point in getting tango because unlike pop music, tango is meant to lead the dancers with its rhythm. In order to keep them in rhyme, each note has to be precise and on point. Therefore, most of notes in this song are staccato. Although it took me a while to get used to playing this type of music, I enjoyed the challenge because the song was lively and captivating. After a few weeks of practice, I hope that I can play this piece well.
Aside from L'amour C'est pour Rien, I am practicing another simple song ,called  Hymne A L'amour (Hymn to love) by Marguerite Monnote. This is an old  French pop song. Its melody is beautiful and dynamic with a slow beginning and a fun and faster climax. By practicing this song, I hope that I will improve in expressing more emotions while playing.
